Chango and Creola tested in Italy
Angulo is getting Global, and we recently had our boards tested in Italy by our entuthiastic italian sailors who have put our boards through tests in both Sicily and Liguria in the north of Italy. This time it was our wave board Chango and freestylewave board Creola that were put to the test in various conditions, to see if the design objectives of our boards match the actual sailing feeling. Here are some of the feedback that we recieved from our Italian freind Emilio D’Onofrio from a still cold Europe sailing day.
CHANGO 88 IN SICILY:
A few days ago we tested the Chango in Sicily. The spot is next to Mazzara del Vallo city and it’s called “puzziteddu”. Naish surfed there once in the past. There is a windsurf school managed by Thomas Corsodoro.
The feedback from him was entusiastic: Chango is great in passing through the wave, great control during backloop, and smooth and fast cutback during waveride. Unfortunately Roberto did not have the chance to take nice photos while he was surfing. He only took a photo of the board on the beach.
CREOLA 94 IN LIGURIA
On saturday I tested the Creola in Noli (Liguria north Italy). The group of friends were not available this weekend to go on windsurfing, so I met some new surfers on the beach there and showed them the board. Some of them have tested and the feedback was really positive. The wind was coming from north north east side-off shore, and the sea was choppy. Water is still cold (look at the wetsuits). Max from windnews magazine tested the board and found it very nice. After a couple of long jumps he also closed a forward.
I understood that he has a good feeling with the board as even I showed the board as a freestylewave, he commented that according to him the board also has a freewave attitude to it.
The caracteristics he appreciate more are: control in choppy water, control during jumping, smooth jibing, speed.
The negative side of the day was that I surfed only 1 hour as I gave the board to other people and could not get it back.
Check out more pictures of the testing days.
We are stoked to have our boards on the water for the test and to recieve all the feedback we can get. And we know that oure Chango and Creola will be bringing joy to more windsurfers out there during the season.

We have the creola now in Northgermany too and the first days were amazing with this extraordinary board. Really great and easy to sail like all boards from angulo.
I hope we can get some other windsurfers here in the area on the boards to test them…
Aloha
