Pozo-second half
I stopped writing about my days at Pozo when I seemingly ran into a brick wall in the slalom event. More of a mental brick wall. It’s never really happened to me in competition but I seemed disinterested and although I felt like I was still trying, I could tell that I was missing some fire. I believe it was the timing of doing so many different things in the last months/ years, just juggling a lot and I got fried and ended up wth the worse slalom event of my career.I had good speed and all my equipment was working well, but I just wasn’t getting the job done. Well, that’s that. The good news is that I left Pozo leading the wave world tour .I definitely had some fire there and I know I had a lot of people praying for me .A strong run in the double elimination saw me fight back to tie with Kauli in Pozo and therefore keep my number 1 position, so I’m leaving here quite relaxed that that i secure until Sylt and I Believe that I will see a serious turnaround in my slalom sailing in Fuerte and the events to come.

Josh You’re the best!!! Everyone has bad days sometimes but we can’t forget that we windsurf for fun and because we love it.
The second thing is no matter your performance, You still are one of the best windsurfers in the whole world. You inspire so many people to push their skills harder and enjoy sailing, that You can’t even imagine how many. Nothing is going to change it!
