Josh-
I hear you owe most of your success to Kurt DeWinter who was an inspiration to you as a youth on Maui.

Attila, whatever feels comfortable for you. A big part of sailing hard is learning how to fall correctly, this is the same in skateboarding, skiing, biking, or any extreme sport. In windsurfing, yes , you must take care toget your feet out the straps while wavesailing or doing anything at high speed. Have fun, be safe!

y'all put on a great PWA event from the looks of it. Congrats.

question:
I noticed a lot of the wave pros look like they have their foot straps set for huge. Is this so you can exit easier when things go badly? I have mine set so that I jam my feet way in so I have positive contact with the board and its so tight that I can't get out easily. I am always worried I won't be able to pull out if things go bad.
