Center Managers
Hi guys heres some shots of Davide , one of our center managers ( he’s on the challenger sail) and Mathieu ( Maui Sails), the UCPA manager, who is one of our right hand guys here in Cabo Verde. Its good to see the boys getting some much needed waves despite their heavy workload. I guess thats one of the benefits of working in CV……
Keep ripping fellows !
Josh

y’all put on a great PWA event from the looks of it. Congrats.
question:
I noticed a lot of the wave pros look like they have their foot straps set for huge. Is this so you can exit easier when things go badly? I have mine set so that I jam my feet way in so I have positive contact with the board and its so tight that I can’t get out easily. I am always worried I won’t be able to pull out if things go bad.
Attila, whatever feels comfortable for you. A big part of sailing hard is learning how to fall correctly, this is the same in skateboarding, skiing, biking, or any extreme sport. In windsurfing, yes , you must take care toget your feet out the straps while wavesailing or doing anything at high speed. Have fun, be safe!
Josh-
I hear you owe most of your success to Kurt DeWinter who was an inspiration to you as a youth on Maui.
Bro, what’s up… out of the woodwork. Im gonna send you a mail
Josh… do you know how to get ahold of Kurt….. email me thanks…. Shary
