Upps i did IT again!
Day five of competition saw Ponta Preta turn back on to deliver mast high waves and hammering wind to complete the remaining heats of the double elimination, and secure an event winner.
After defeating Kauli Seadi twice, Josh Angulo made sure the Cabo Verde crown returned to its homeland, winning the event for the second time in its history. Kauli Seadi produced some inspirational sailing to finish in second, Kevin Pritchard took third, and Marcilio Browne climbed the ranks of the double elimination to finish in fourth.

Congratulations Josh.
When we talk about perfect waveriding and simply awesome style you are the one. You are a living legend. Today you prove that no matter if the youngsters put any freestyle move in the waves they will always be back. After all the wave contests have to do with wave moves and not freestyle in the waves. We are really glad to see that the PWA judges after so many years are starting to count a wave contest scoring wave moves only and not silly half landed freestyle go for it attitude moves. By the way what happened to the twin fin technology department? What went wrong?
Josh is the BOSS of waves worldwide and with a single fin 07-08 board shape compared to all the guys that were sailing 2 fins, 3 fins, 4 fins. Maybe in the future they will have to use a secret jet-ski machine in their boards to stop Angulo.
Thats the truth
